Core Defender is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience to lead and enhance our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, improve system reliability, and support scalable, secure architectures. This role is open for both contracting and Full-Time.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to support scalable, secure applications.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor and improve system reliability, performance, and availability using monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of application environments.
- Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure best practices in DevSecOps are followed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues, network problems, and deployment errors.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud computing.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to improving team workflows and standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a related role.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with strong knowledge of services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Strong skills in managing containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Go) for automation.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK Stack.
- Solid understanding of networking, security protocols, and system architecture.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and branching strategies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with serverless architecture and microservices deployment.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools.
- Knowledge of message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) and event-driven architectures.
- Certification in AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or equivalent.
- Experience with Hybrid Cloud or Multi-Cloud environments.
